Plan of Layout

The layout is a 'jigsaw' type of layout where the trackbed in built on two sub frames each 200cm (6ft 7in) x 50cm (20in). Scenic boards are added to these, front and rear, to make a overall scenic area of 375cm (12ft 4in) x 100cm (3ft 4in).

A small fiddleyard and display board is added to the left as viewed from the front, which takes the overall size to 465cm (15ft 3in) x 100cm (3ft 4in) not including the small control panels front and rear.

The layout is operated from the front and rear - extra space required 3ft 5in (rear) and 1ft 9in (front).

Note: The operator to the rear sits on a platform (supplied) behind the layout which is 3ft 3in deep.

1ft 9in access is required to the left hand side (for fiddleyard and to rear operating position) and 3in to the right hand side (for assembly/disassembly).
