Three articles about the layout have appeared in the model railway press.

British Railway Modelling (BRM) - November 2020

A ten page article about the layout appeared in the November 2020 edition of British Railway Modelling (BRM). The article was penned by the current owner and featured photographs taken by RMweb Editor and BRM Photographer Andy York.

A further five images of the layout, taken by Andy York at the 2019 National Festival of Railway Modelling held in Peterborough, appeared in the pocketmags digital November 2020 edition of British Railway Modelling (BRM).

Railway Modeller - April 2020

A four page article about the layout appeared in the April 2020 edition of Railway Modeller. Published to coincide with the layout's planned appearance at the York Model Railway Exhibition the item was penned by the current owner and featured photographs taken by Railway Modeller editor Steve Flint.

There were a couple of other articles published in the Railway Modeller magazine relating to another model of Leysdown. This was constructed by D.G. Halliday to 4mm/ft scale 16.5mm gauge (00) back in the late 1980s. The first article penned by Don and published in the December 1986 edition put forward the idea that the prototype station was worth modelling. His follow up article in April 1990 described the layout that he subsequently constructed.

Model Railway Journal - Edition No 160

A short article about the layout appeared in the Model Railway Journal Issue No.160. Published in mid 2005, the three page item was penned by Uckfield Model Railway Club member Martin Marrison and featured photographs taken by Phillip Hall.
