Plan of Layout

The scenic part of the layout is build on four boards of irregular shape. The fiddleyard is of a turntable design and is situated on the right hand of the layout as viewed from the front.

The layout is 17ft 8in long, so with access, the total space required is 20ft x 6ft 6in.

Note: The fiddleyard surround projects 18in beyond the front of the main station board, so the front of the fiddleyard should ideally be situated on a exhibition barrier line, giving 18in of space between the barrier and the main scenic part of the layout.
